Indra Aziz

The South Jakarta Community Choir (formerly the Pattimura Community Choir), was founded by Kate Redmond and is led by renowned Indonesian composer, musician and vocal coach Indra Aziz. We are a non-auditioned, secular community choir and sing a variety of music: world music, pop, show tunes and golden oldies. It’s loads of fun. Just turn up and join in. Rehearsals are held in English. Membership is very mixed and open to all: expatriates and Indonesians.

Choir starts 24 January 2011 at Australian International School, in Kemang Timur.We’re still recruiting and we still need more basses and tenors. Please email us or see our FAQs under ‘Notes’ for info on how to join.

Tadi sore jam 4 South Jakarta Community Choir (SJCC) baru saja melaksanakan konser mini akhir tahunnya. Bertempat di New Zealand Int’l School, SJCC membawakan 9 buah lagu, antara lain “Dance Of The Sugar Plum Fairy” dan “Man In The Mirror”. Konser ini menandakan akhir dari aktifitas choir ini untuk tahun 2010. SJCC akan memulai season yang baru pada pertengahan Januari 2011. 2010 End of Year Concert

Please join us at our last concert for 2010. We have a few golden oldies and a few new tunes as we celebrate the end of 2010.

Tanggal 13-14 kemarin 33rd JGTC Band Competition sudah berjalan tahap kualifikasi. Dari 13 band (pada awalnya lebih banyak namun banyak yg cancel) gugur 3 band. Band competition ini akan menghasilkan 3 band pemenang yang nantinya akan tampil di acara JGTC di UI pada tanggal 28 November 2010. Babak final akan diadakan tanggal 21 November di eX Plaza Indonesia.
