But what some of us don’t realize is that singing is actually a physically demanding activity, especially for our vocal organs such as our vocal chord and our diaphragm. Our voice that we use for speaking and singing comes from a complex and sophisticated instrument within our body. That instrument needs to be maintained; it can be damaged if used improperly. In order for us to be able to use our vocal instrument to sing more beautifully, efficiently and easily, while ensuring our instrument’s longevity, we need regular vocal training.
